Great musical event, the FIFA WORLD CUP KICK-OFF CELEBRATION CONCERT, aired Thursday, June 10, at 21:04 on Raidue.
Three hours of music and sport together in concert to be held at Orlando Stadium in Soweto in Johannesburg in South Africa. The evening will be a big party to celebrate the arrival of the World Cup in Africa for the first time.
Participate in international and African artists like Alicia Keys, Shakira, Amadou & Mariam, Angelique Kidjo, BLK JKS, Hugh Masekela, John Legend, Juanes, K'Naan, Mzansi Youth Choir, Soweto Gospel Choir, Tinariwen, The Black Eyed Peas, The Parlotones Vieux Farka Toure and Vusi Mahlasela.
The evening is sponsored by the FIFA (International Federation of Football Associations). Proceeds from the evening will go towards the "20 Centres for 2010" for the construction of soccer fields and social facilities for young people in Africa.
