if it is under 60-70 it is ok it would be good that it is under 30 but 70 is ok.

it could due to your friend installation. In some cases, wifi or CPL can be responsible of such low performance

You can also check ping by cmd and ping server host

I think all is about ping time. As data transferred from/to the server is not so big but rather frequent.

its all well an good having a good ping, but all depends on how good the quality of server you have what you receive, i have a pay sub since june last yesr hardly one glitch all nights viewing.
