Use telnet to connect from your PC to the dreambox.

Choose "Start" and "Run" in Windows, then enter "telnet 192.168.x.x"
replacing 192.168.x.x wth the actual IP address of the box

Logon with your username and password (username is "root", password is "dreambox" by default)

Enter "passwd" in the session - this will prompt you to enter a new password.

Enter your new password

It will then ask you to confirm the new password

Enter the new password again.

That's it.....the password has now been changed.
