Can you see the card as a local when using cccam info?

Do you have newcs setup correctly to read the card (correct clock speed etc)? And does it need a box key?

How exactly do have have it set up at the moment?

You should have newcs+cccam as the "cam". And in cccam, there should be an N line connecting to newcs. Have you done this?

i have the card in my box and i am running cccam1.1.2+newcs 1.67 that is all

You need to add a line in cccam.cfg to connect cccam to newcs.

First look in /var/tuxbox/config/newcs.xml. Find the port number first, search for newcamd_port, mine is

            <newcamd_port>14524</newcamd_port>

Search for newcamdserver. You will see something like

	<newcamdserver>
			<enabled>Yes</enabled>
			<name>newcs</name>
			<deskey>01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14</deskey>
			<user>
				<name>dummyusr</name>
				<password>dummypwd</password>
				<hostname>localhost</hostname>
				<au>on</au>
			</user>
	</newcamdserver>

Note the username and password.

Now edit cccam.cfg, and add

N: 127.0.0.1 <PORT> dummyusr dummypwd 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Using my example above, you should enter

N: 127.0.0.1 14524 dummyusr dummypwd 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
