Re: Problem in 10892 H
Thanks for your replies.
I've already changed the LNB.
I know that the signal should be strong, since I saw with other people in the town, so I think it has to be interference.
Is there a way to overcome that?

Re: Problem in 10892 H
To solve problem you need a spectrum analizer connected to your LNB, only in this way is possible to see what happens on this frequency, if there is a weak signal or you get interferences from other transmitter (like radars, terrestrial tv or microwave transmitter).
You can't do more then change LNB, then if problem stills spectrum analyzer is required.Leave a comment:

Maybe you have other transmitters which conduct problems.Leave a comment:

Re: Problem in 10892 H
Sorry I didnt read every posting.
If you have a 180cm dish, then it will definately be a prime focus.
There is no gain in offset dishes larger than 12cm so dishes above 120 are normally prime focus.Leave a comment:

Re: Problem in 10892 H
Even though some offset dishes have 3 arms, most people identify them with one arm and not the angle nor shape.
I have added some more pictures.
Fist is offset, second is prime focus.
Jerry2020, do one more thing.
Use a setting editor and manually insert the missing channels.
Then depending on your location (longitude), rotate your Lnb starting from ''0'' Position (as regards Skew).
Last, try a good LNB typically made for motorised dishes because of the skew. such as InvacomLeave a comment:

Re: Problem in 10892 H
No, there isn't anything. This might sound like a very silly question, but is there anything across the horizon of your satellite dish, like maybe a tree branch etc? I had a similiar problem with Horizontal transponders only because there was a tree going across the dish, as soon as i cut it, it worked. Also bear in mind, nilesat is quite a difficult satellite to pick up in certain places, so even the smallest thing will result in problems.
I've tried other receivers, all have the same problem.Leave a comment:

Tell me what pic is similar to your dish. Look the LNB position, this is basically difference between prime focus and offset dish.Leave a comment:

Re: Problem in 10892 H
I don't know the difference between the two.I think you're closly to mobile phone transmitter, or a point to point transmitter. Do you've prime focus or offset dish? If you've offset dish change it with prime focus dish, it has bigger elevation (around 20 degree) this allows dish to get less interferences from terrestrial transmitters.
I have 180 cm dish prifix, with motor.
I think I've tried almost everything software-wise.Sometimes without a manual search with PIDs etc, its impossible to obtain some specific channels.
This happens with some PPV and interactive channels.
Best solution is to use setting editor and manually insert the missing channels.
If it is actually a footprint issue, then the solution is as satman72 says.Leave a comment:
