Re: Problem in 10892 H
I heard that in some areas some transponders are very weak due to mobile stations.
If it's the case, is there a solution to that?

Then it looks like a problem from the dish alignment or LNB.
Ask a neighbor to let you connect to his antena and see if the signal is better (you said that in your roof are lot's of dishes why don't ask a neghbor to let you connect for test to his antena, and better swap the dishes and you'll see how his reciver works on your's antena)
Not necesarly it could also try to move it under one meter for begining for tests, and see if the signal is betterLeave a comment:

Do you have other box to try it, you could ask a friend or something just for testing to see what signal you have with other boxesThanks, I saw it before since I looked a lot for soution but in vain.
I tried disconnecting the cable and take directly from the dish to the box with the same result.
I don't have a wireless phone, but I don't know if anyone in the building have one.
I tried close freqs but got the same result.
On HB, the channels were working but the signal level was remarkably weaker than other frequencies.
There seems to be no solution.Leave a comment:

Thanks, I saw it before since I looked a lot for soution but in vain.Interesting, I was reading about a similar problem on another forum where this exact transponder would not pick up on hotbird. Many people said that it was a LNB problem, in that it wasn't in its range, while the problem was solved. The solution was apparently the cable... Il pm you the link it thats ok...
Have a look, although its not on nilesat it might help. Another suggestion is slighltly tweaking the frequency in the transponder input screen?
Other than that Im not sure what else it could be... Gd luck and post the solution when you have found it.

On this particular transponder there are many people that also were using DECT phones and they reported signal issues.
That's why i was almost 100% sure that a DECT phone is the problem or something based on WirelessLeave a comment:
