Re: Risks of cardsharing
You are right, but example here in norway, the nordic sat providers have created organization named STOP nordic, who infeltrate cs communitys. So old school methode is still working on cs

Re: Risks of cardsharing
If they are all connected in a vpn you shouldn't be worried ... non one would be able to realize what's flowing inside your private network.
Not even f_b_i could do it, because it takes years to the most powerful supercomputers to break the safest and strongest cyphers (that's the reason why strong cryptography is forbidden in the u.s.a.)Leave a comment:

dont worry, there are major crimes than cs, which have higher priorities ...Leave a comment:

Re: Risks of cardsharing
There are ways to pay anonymously. A number of servers are now also taking Ukash, Moneybookers, etc as payment which is anonymous.I suppose if you want to stamp it out, you go for the place where it is happening. Going for the user isn't going to solve any of the problems I suppose. But if the server operator was found, could they not trace the end users through payments through Paypal - that seems to be a common payment method.
You could also get an anonymous paypal account like I do.Leave a comment:

Re: Risks of cardsharing
In germany it's already illegal if you share your own subscibtion from one roon to another (from your receiver 1 to 2).
But this form of cs is undangerous for you.Leave a comment:

Re: Risks of cardsharing
I have used for years and never had any security problem. I basicly dont think on that when i so cardsharing, but if i create a server and have 100 users, then i can be worried. So mate have a happy life with cs as you can

Re: Risks of cardsharing
i am also using peerblock, heard that program helps and it is free. as for vpn i am using hotspot shield. both are free and hotspot shields adds are annoying but i was using them thinking i am totally safe when i download things or use satellite tv servers. now i have second thought.
what about experienced guys? do you take any precautions? how long have you been using cccam servers and did you have any problems?Leave a comment:

Re: Risks of cardsharing
Theoretically it's able to trace everything.
Example
You make a crime.
They find out an ip from what crime is performed. It's anonymous proxy's ip. They know the time of crime. They ask anonymous proxy admin for logs. Admins deny. They investigate where this server is. Ask provider to cooperate. Provider givers contacts of admins. They force admins to cooperate (money, violence, etc) They have logs, They have IP, and so far with this template. At last they know you street address. They come and arrest you.
But.
You can see that it's a very very hard work and if your crime is like Wikileaks or money transfer from the bank or Pentagon network intrusion, they may start to work it out. If it's all about some boy watching football in Bulgaria, no one will make nothing to prevent this.Leave a comment:

Re: Risks of cardsharing
You can never hide you 100% becouse of the way internet is working, but with vpn and proxy servers, you will level up your hiding capability from being catch to easy.Leave a comment:

Re: Risks of cardsharing
Using a vpn is 100% safe because all traffic is encrypted with the the strongest algorithms.
On the contrary, if the network is not encrypted, tracing can be done in many ways: if you control a client than you get the ip of the server; if you control the server, you can get the ip of all the clients.
Theoretically some random sniffing can be done on the net to intercept connections between client and server (and so getting both ip addresses).
But in real world, risk of cs is not higher than taking a walk on the seaside.
So mates .. go on sharing ... with good peace of mind ...Leave a comment:

Re: Risks of cardsharing
is it possible to hide your ip address if you are using a vpn server?Sure it's able to investigate almost every computer crime. IP address is unique , it's possible to get provider's logs and to trace the user. But it's possible that price of an investigation will be too high to perform such investigation. And for sure nobody will try to catch a man watching TV via sharing. What for? A caught person could say he doesn't know what "sharing-mosharing", he bought this box from gypcies to watch football, and doesn't understand what's his fault? So don't worry. Risks of cardsharing are risks of card sharing providers, not users.Leave a comment:
