The ITV and BSkyB have signed an agreement providing for the allocation of channels ITV2 HD, ITV3 HD and ITV4 HD only to subscribers of Sky + HD. The function of these channels will be launched this autumn, beginning with ITV2 HD since October. The deal is a return to ITV on pay TV because of falling advertising revenues. Recalled that ITV had created the pay digital terrestrial platform ITV Digital, which closed in late 2002.

there making a big mistake going pay route they will loose advertising money when the veiwng figures are down
