Not sure if you mean 'how illegal', I don't think the possible severity of punishment always reflects the amount of time investigating and prosecuting. Cardsharing is piracy, piracy is theft. I am not sure if in the UK they would be interested in catching people who are sharing their local cards, because I don't think anyone is losing out. I doub't you would buy more than one card, so by sharing others, the providors are not losing. Sky might be losing out if you are in the UK and you have not got a local Sky card and you are getting your Sky via sharing, so this would be more of a target. The main targets would be those who are setting up pay servers, or selling boxes set up with free servers on, and this is the only situation I have heard of where procecutions have been made in the UK.

as far as i know it it ilegal in every country unless anyone know diffrent just some counties punish to the max like sky uk but i dont think they try to hard to find you they just go after pay servers who puplicaly advertise on the net about what they have and are based in the uk thats not the best thing to do

They are clamping down hard on it in the UK and i know that the sales of Spiderbox have been hit due to the fact many big sat retailers had to return stock due to there illegal nature. Trading standards raided one of the main distributors of the Spiderbox.

As for sharing your $ky card its a known fact that if caught which is hard but not only are you as an individual banned but also your home address from ever having a legal $ky contract again.

Sure, it's same in whole europe, maybe world.

sharing paytv is in Germany illegal. It is also forbidden to share your own card in your own household while being a customer of a PayTv Provider.You must order a second card.

In Balkans (ex-Yu countries) CS is a real business. You can see full pages of advertisements in newspapers offering CS without any fear of punishment. Every kid with dreambox and one legal subscription has his own CS business!!

yes that 100% true ,like i sad we have other problem ,about CS here you can make a bussiness,in every Computer Store,Satelite Store ,they offer you card sharing ,like it is legall ...
