Technomate or Vu plus

Hi all its time to take the next step up from the good old Spiderbox and go for a enigma 2 box i have looked at a solo 2 or a nano 2 super i do not want a cheap box around £200 max i have always liked Technomate but there does not seem to any new models lately and the solo 2 is a few years old now any advice would be great

my choice in that price bracket would either be the Vu UNO 4K or the Octagon SF4008 and perhaps the Mutant HD51 4K

I did look at the vu plus uno 4k it looks very nice and it is high spec machine does it run cccam ok and is there a working vix image for the uno 4k

Hi Buddy,

I am afraid you cant run Cccam on any of the 4K receivers as there processor is ARM based which means you can only run Oscam, No biggie really as there are guides out there to help you.

The Uno 4K has images from all the popular teams including Vix

just to add,
always check the storage of boxes, vu+solo I had, was very limited, but perhaps looking on the plus side, you can add external storage.

Well i went for the solo 2 using the latest vix image i installed Cccam 2,30 from the vix plugin then i ftp my cfg file using dream edit with my line that i know what works ok i copied the cfg with my line in to the etc file but all i get is cannot read web address and no channels open any help would be great just a thought do you copy the cfg file to to etc or var/keys Regards Thecrazybandit
