    Re: C Band

Think you will struggle to get very much on this. I presume that as it is Motorized you are probably talking about a Ku band dish, this is not really suitable for receiving C band transmissions. I would think that the bare minimum you will need would be a 1.8Mtr C band dish with a good low Kelvin Lnb, these are expensive compared to Ku band Lnb's which can these days be picked up for a couple of Euro. When it comes to fitting a motor to these dishes, you are entering a whole new, but very interesting ball game.Best of luck with it.

PS...you should have a look on Flysat,Lyngsat or Kingofsat to see what is available, usually on these sites if you click on the Beam column, it will give you some indication if reception is possible, that way you can decide if the work and expense is for you.

        Re: C Band

No, C Band Lnb's have connections for a Centre Feed Dish ..ie Circular ,this is why a Ku Band Dish ...Elliptical, can not be used. In order to combine them on a C Band dish you have to use a Corotor to combine both. This is a simplified explanation, but I am sure you get the idea.
This will give you some idea. just add the missing W.
