It was suppose to be released at the end of this month, but with the recent changes to the HDMI revision from 2.0 to 2.0a due to HDR changes they may well be wise to hold off release and make sure its completely comaptible

More than likely as the Specification keeps changing, this year alone it has changed 3 times the latest being the inclusion of HDR and HDMI 2.0A to comply with HDR, There could be more on the way

From what i have read on the bt forum unless you have very fast broadband it is a nightmare it almost takes all your bandwidth i am on infinity 2 and they would not let me have it and my internet is running at 44meg internet too slow

What are you paying for the Infinity2 for if your max rate is 44mb i would be inclined to save some money and go for infinty1 and max out the 38mb top speed

It was a lot faster than that when it was installed but has slowly got slower and slower i have 6 months left on my contract on infinity 2 and bt will not downgrade me to infinity 1 not matter what i say about the speed drop they say this is normal so not really happy but not a lot i can do about it all i will say that i will be dropping bt when the contact run out very poor service

I see the vuplus 4k box has a uk price now of £399 and dealers are taking pre orders

with rergards to the BT 4k, had it since it came out. Football on it is good in the sense that the picture is awesome, but the issue is they only have a couple of cameras so you don't get the same viewing experience with HD for instance. Biggest thing i like is that you get Ian Darke and Kevin Davies commentating and NOT Michael Owen lol.
Hopefully it will improve in time like everything does.
