It’s clear that it’s not the cheapest device around.

If you select the DVB-S2, then the price is higher.

There are many android devices that can make the same work with less money.

You are joking 129 euro for a twin tuner sat reciever and also an android box that also runs openelc. Show me a device that will do all that fo less money.

On a side note I installed openelec on a thumb drive and got my pc to booy into it. I also had a compromate pci dvbs card which I installed in my pc. Once set up openelc ran fantastic with oscam. and of course all goodies from kodi. By the way android is horrible but linux on these boxes runs fab

I have decieded that I am going to order one £90 pounds seems dirt cheap to me

No idea where you got the 'Twin' Tuner part from the wetek's are not twin tuners you have a choice 1. No Tuner 2. DVB-S2 Tuner 3. DVB-C/T Tuner.

Had good reports about them no doubt but a lot of bad as well if you look around, Enigma2 port is still a work in progress as with a lot of other things

Ok I got one of these bad boys and all I can say is wow.
@Digicon They come with twin tuners have it set up now on 28E with oscam
These are an absolute giveaway for £92

I cannot compare it with other boxes currently on the market because I have not owned them. However I have owned a dm800hd which I have had for many years and have had great fun with. I also about 3 years agoi purchased an android stb to run kodi on. I very rarley now use the dreambox because of the box running kodi.

I was going to completly remove my dish and do away with my dreambox. But like I said I have had so much fun with the sat side of things its hard to pack in. So before I found out about the weteks I was toying with the idea of a solo2 but I could not justify spending that amout of money on something. I did my research on every sat reciever out there and there was only one (solo2). Until the wetek came along kodi is a beatiful crafted piece of software which so interesting to play with. I love to tinker and the wetek ticks all the boxes. If you just want a box to watch a pay server this box is not for you

@rizan I notice in your sig you have an 800hd too. The wetek compared to the 800hd is light years ahead.

The wetek comes with android installed which I hate with a passion. However put openelec on it and its fantastic. The wetek uses a plugin called tvheadend which is all configure from ui on firefox etc. Its a bit daunting and first but I am beging to love it.

I also have a skystar 2 card did you know you can test kodi out and the ss2 on openelec on a pc running from a usb drive.

Yes, I have Dm800, but, I also have Solo2, when we talk about sat reception, then, consider bit more about tuner , how can it pick weakest signals

This I have yet to try I love love to sat surf also I have not tried the motorized side of it yet which will be interesting

I Have Wetek Play2 4k with oscam, and I am very happy

Android with Oscam

but it works well with openelec and oscam
