    FTP connection problem

    This problem has driven me crazy today

    I have been using Filezilla for more than 2 years with never a problem

    I used last this morning,

    NOW this evening I was trying to connect with filezilla to my VU+solo and cannot connect, I am getting this connection error

    '''ECCONREFUSED- connection refused by server'''

    Now from the same PC i can connect with Enigmaedit and even with Web interface or OpenWebif with the same host(IPaddress) for all tools mentioned above

    It is only when I try ftp tool it fails

    has anyone encountered this problem , been trying for a solution for hours, disabled firewall, antivirus etc nothing seems to help



    help will be much appreciated

      Perhaps try another ftp-program.

      I use wsftp without any problem.

              problem solved by itself I guess
              Tried everything yesterday from about 4 till late at night
              tried about 3/4 other ftp programs
              with the same result
              searched on the internet (apart from forums) where many had a similar problem but with NO answer
              even tried on another pc same error
              both pc and laptop could connect to the VU+solo with enigmaedit, dreambox edit, web interface etc, BUT not with any ftp or VuUC or DCC programs
              switched off and went to bed

              woke up uninstalled every related ftp program from pc (something I did, don't know how many times yesterday)
              reinstalled filezilla
              THERE SUCCESSFULLY CONNECTTED with NO problem at all.immediately
              don't tell me what it was preventing it to connect, because I really don't know
              workin and connecting fine now, that is what matter
              appreciate help all tried ti give
