    Astra 2g

The final piece of the jigsaw for 28.2, 2g was launched at the end of December.

It is now situated at 21.2 East on temporary duties and is thought to be moving to 28.2 East around the middle of this year.

So hopefully we will then know the final situation with regard to these channels.

Sorry to be a bit vague but info is a bit thin on the ground.

The footprint will be pretty much the same as 2e and2f, it will be down to what beam they put the channels on and of course transponders will be moved in due course from Eutelsat and 2a to 2e, 2f and 2g.
