Skybox v8

New to the forum hope this is the right place to post.
I have a new skybox v8 and it works fine except the blacks are too black in movies especially, no settings I tried on the tv or box will correct this hope someone can help thanks

Hi mate

Try to find the settings for the image quality in your box as well as in your tv.
I'm sure that something is bad configured and this is causing the problem.

If there is no way to change the image quality or the changes haven't the effect that you want , then we have to talk about a bug on the firmware.
In this case you have to find a new firmware to update your box.

Thank you, nothing I do with either box or tv has any effect will try and look for newer firmware. I have an Ariva HD Combo box and which is about 4 years old and it does not have this problem. I will try and see if anyone else has the same issue with this box.
