Re: Are we losing sky it sd now?

I'll explain you all what is happend on $ky It.
They uses 3 kinds of card with ident 0919 (very old cards) 093B and 09CD (there are two differents kind of cards with this ident).
They didn't paired cards with boxes but just changed something into their box cam so that all emulators are not able to handle ecms anymore. This happend with cards that have ident 093B and 09CD, the oldest card are still working on all emu, this I think because those cards don't supports new commands or maybe they don't have enough enclosed memory to store new commands.
This same thing was done last year on HD channels too.
It's not pairing because if you've a working (cam updated) box it will works with all cards.
Now on line some ppl from Tunisia are selling boxes (called Starsat SR-2000HD) with 12 or 15 months Subscription enclosed to their G-Share server and those boxes works on SD channels and most of HD channels, those boxes are locked (they've their own firmware like Ariva, Digiquest etc.) so you can't know what happens inside. Anyway the reason those boxes works is not about the G-Share protocol but is because they've inside a new emu version that supports new cards commands. For now this new emu isn't public so can't be used to compile a new emus that run on Linux boxes enigma like dreambox etc.
Some pay servers has still old cards 0919 (but this kind of cards are very slow to answer so it is very hard to use for sharing) for this sometime you can still open channels with old emu like CC*am Os*am etc. And also some SD channels are still working for now on new cards (PPV for example). When they will replace all old cards and will stop to use ident 0919 every channel will be dark. The solution can only come from an original cam box dump, only in this way will be possible to reverse the code and write an emu that supports new card commands.
I hope this has helped you all to know more about.

their is still hope then, if they manage with g-share, guess a solution will come for cs with other emus for our boxes, maybe a new emu will be needed based on g-share emu, time will tell, satman thx for keeping our english members informed
For those that speak italian also see in topic "game over" in italian section

        I agree with dear runmo

        There is still hope!!!

Although, the new emu will be late some months or years to come on linux boxes, until some "smart" people will be rich from the Starsat boxes which can work with the new emu.

Be sure that it will be very difficult to take the secret from them.

As always all is done for money, and if you don't pay them, they will never give any info about the working emu.

In my opinion, the easiest way is to take info from the original box.

What also makes me believe that it will be soon a solution, is that this packet is one of the most popular in the sat world.

          .........
This is true but those box are not secured like original $ky box so I don't think will be impossible to dump this fw and write a new emulator.

My 919 still works, for sd only, but so far it's ok.

I'm sure solution is possible, as you explained, it's not hw pairing etc.

BUT, there is a info that all nds providers will swap cards in the next few months? New, more secured type..

What do you know about that?
