    Sat recievers working on 27.5W?

I thought it might be interesting for some members if we had a list of receivers working on 27.5 West .

I can start it off, I have it working with a VU duo and Solo 2. I also believe it works with TM 5402, anyone know of any others?

Not problem to get this channels on 27.5w.
They scramble the PMT table, so its hard to decode.
Is my post useful for you? Please press sigpic

Not all receivers are able to handle the 44100 symbol rate and 9/10 Fec.

As far as I know, 27.5 west works on alma s2210, too. But only with the latest firmware.

            regards,

The Blade 7000s does yes so too does its Clone copy the TM5402HD as well as most of the other technomate receivers that use the CNDF file system other receives include the DrHD series and some of the Clarke tech closed source receivers.

All Linux Enigma2 receivers will work that are supported by the latest OpenPLi 4.0 image in conjunction with Oscam_Y_mod

... so it appears such as a parameter settings somewhere in the enigma2 config ?

There are a number of different problems on Linux receivers as has been said you don't only need the keys and you have to send special files to the box to deal with the pmt issue also you have to edit the lamedb file with enigma stopped then restart enigma so you need a bit of Linux knowledge. It is not plug and play and not for the faint hearted.

Digicon is right about OpenPLi 4 but it also works on Vix and Opepen spa because they all have the special aac audio required for the HD channels sound, other images will work in a limited way but you will not get sound on the HD channels.

The easiest way is non Linux where everything is done for you such as the tm.

... should it be possible to install the aac codec ?

No it is a special version called AAC-HE it has to be in the image, I think eventually all images will have it as standard.
