    Hi Spuggy,

I assume you haven't bought anything yet, and this is just a copy and pasted advert?

Spiderbox is very good for beginners.

It should open a number of non UK channels, included in the purchase price. For $ky UK you will need a line. Try the free ones from this site to begin with.

Do you have someone to install or are you going to do it yourself?

      Hello spuggy

First of all you have to make a decision for what you really want because you will pay much money without any result.

In order to get sky uk channels you need only a fixed dish of 80cm.

Why you want to buy a motorized dish?
Do you want to receive other satellites?
      If yes, which of them?

As about the box, it's better to look for a dreambox or a vu+.

After you have finished the setup of your dish and box, then you have to make a subscription and get a line for the packets you want to watch.

Also, you can try a free lines from this forum.

I agree with @kalpikos unless you want to receive other satellites (or as a future proof method) you would not need a motorized dish setup. As far as set top boxes the top of the range is surely a Dreambox or a Vu, these enigma 2 boxes offer greater variety in terms of plugins/help(since they are widely used) etc...
As for the subscription, make a research in terms of your budget and 'channels' wanted and choose the best line provider + make sure that the provider is providing you with a line that is suited to your emu (emulator) as there is a wide range of emulators mgcamd, newcamd, cccam, oscam etc...

Depending on where in the u.k. you live, there are other options for sly u.k. as well. Cable is good if you live in the correct area as HD channels still open.
I recently purchased a usb cable tuner for my vu+ solo2 and it works a treat.

Spuggy. I think I know where you saw the above advert. I bought a stb off that guy a while ago with no problems.
