Help with remote control DM 800se

Hi

I've been trying to adjust the usage of some keys on the remote, but it seems more difficult than that of Enigma1.

To start with, is "/usr/share/enigma2/keymap.xml" the correct file to edit?
I've changed some lines, restarted, but there's no effect.

What do you want to do exactly?

You can use one of the plugin that can change the functions of the keys on the remote control.
For examble I use on my vu+solo2 the plugin "Multi Quickbutton" and I can give any function I want to any button I want.

I'm sure that there is something familiar for your box.

I want to make a single button to open the favorites list.
I also want to use another button for the FB function, what 0 does.

As about the favorites list, I think it's a little difficult because these is no key for this function and the list is coming when you hit the up or down key from navigation keys or the bouquet change keys.

I don't have a 800se but I think that is the same like my vu+solo2.

Maybe there's a way to do it with a plugin that I mentioned above.
The only you have to do is to give the function e.g. "bouquet up" to one more key that you are not using.

As about "FB function" ???

... personnally, i've created a bouquet-list
called 00.my.favorite
so that, when alphabetically sorted, it comes out first,
and i get it just in one touch, with my remote !

Flashback. The function of button 0.
You are on channel 1, then you zap to channel 2.
Press 0 you go to 1, press again you go to 2, ...

Unfortunately it doesn't contain the info I need.
It only explains changing the up/down buttons for switching channels.
I miss enigma1 simplicity
