Sky movies from £1.00 to £9.99 madness when movie streams are readily aviable to stream
and apps like popcorn time make it so easy that my daughter or my mum have no trouble
      with streaming movies.

Maybe I mis-read the first post from Aplok, I got the impression that it had gone from £8.99 to £9.99
          ie gone up by £1.00.

          Regards Mobley3

I think they need all the extra money to cover the cost of all the advertising they do, they must spend millions a year on hype, where the best form of advertising is value for money, give people a bargain it will advertise itself.

The price increase has actually been postponed.
