Open pli epg, channel change button and usb driver

hey guys decided to try out openpli 4 since openvix don't allow access from the older images to their plugin feed anymore.

i just want to know is there a way change the epg to one similar to the vix one.

can i change the channel +/- buttons to actually change the channel

also i tried the plugin feed but can't find the usb 3070 driver anyone know where i can get it

I also use openpli image and I'm very satisfied with it.

From the beginning I tried the epg by rytec with XMLTV import and so far everything is working very well and very fast.

For some time I used to use crossEPG with other images and I remember to have many problems.

I think that openpli image it's better to have rytec EPG.
Maybe you should try it.

when i say epg i mean graphical epg.

i agree its very good but i really don't like the epg and the way the change channel buttons don't actually change the channels bugs me

im also having problems getting crossepg to work. i set it up the same way i have been doing on vix.

it starts to download but stops after about a second. any ideas guys

most providers have theres own epg channels upgrade on a certain channel
dunno what it is in ireland or other countries
here in dk we have motors tv and nickelodeon on canal digital nordic
haven't found a channel from viasat nordic yet there upgrade the epg guide

As kalpikos said, use xmltv with rytec and cool tv guide for graphical epg they work fine and they are all available in the plugins download.

hi guys, i too have problems with openepg on open pli on dream800, i have set it to update everyday but it dosn't seem to work, i end up fiddling around with it and it finally updates, problem is, i don't know what i did to make it work, can anyone tell me the best epg system to use and how to work it? thanks in advance

test if your channel list is still up to date,
or rescan the sat to clean it

sometimes unknown channels crash the epg process

For openpli images, the epg by rytec with XMLTV import works perfect.

I was using crossEPG but with many problems.

Try EPG by rytec with XMLTV import and you will have every day silent update.
It's very simple to use and I'm sure that you will not have any problem with it.

Don't forget what @aplok said, about channels list.
All EPG plugins require updated channels list in order to work properly.
