I'm trying to find a way to stream the MPEG-TS output from a receiver to a Adobe Flash Media Server so that my mates can all watch sporting events from a single streaming source.
I originally tried using FFMPEG on a Mac to convert the MPEG-TS from a Dreambox DM500 clone to FLV format which was streamed up to FMS.
I found the output of the DM500 was poor, FFMPEG threw lots of errors and the stream was jitter and FFMPEG would eventually stop working. Watching the MPEG-TS stream with VLC was just as bad.
So... has anyone else any experience with doing this?
I've read that the DM500 isn't up to the job, so I'm thinking of buying a genuine VU+ Uno. Any feedback on the MPEG-TS output from this receiver?
