But I'm back again! Yeah I'm a bit rusty and no doubt forgotten more than I knew a couple of years ago, but hey I want to play again so whats been going on?

Are Spiderbox HD9000's still being played with or have they been trashed?

Old news now the 7000,9000,9900 Spider released a new receiver called the 6000 which is now all they support

You can still use it, just won't get the gift that you used to get.
As digicon said, it's all moved on to 6000 now.

If I'm not mistaken, your box needs to be flashed with patched software in order to work with cccam.
There is a hidden menu that allows you to enter a c-line.

Box will work fine M8 if you have set it up and patched it. I have been using mine for more than 4 years now without problems. You can avail of the free lines here to extend your viewing, just make sure to only use 1 line at a time to avoid a ban. You will need to also update the database as it will be well out of date.

If it still works ok carry on using it the spiderbox still works very well on cccam and newcamd

Spider still going strong, its as good as anything out there.

Hello matey nope nothing like that lifes been pretty hectic but also good for me......good to see your still here though.

I had a patched Protek which worked well for a few years up until now were the server has called last orders on it. But I can't complain as its been brilliant.

From what I can remember I flashed my spider ages ago, LOL....just been looking up my old post's back then I was a dab hand at it. Trouble is now the old grey matter ain't what it used to be, so its my turn to be a bit of a newb!

As for the guys here that have replied to my post, thanks for your comments....much appreciated.

The flash will still be the same don't flash anything else on to it leave it as it is if it was working before , all you need are some sealions .or if no good try a new spider this comes with free gift or so they say.

or you can get a new protek - believe they are working on a cccam-update on the 97xx models (only client)

Hi Euroslob, good to see you back. As already mentioned the Spiderbox HD6000 is the one with the support, but I'm still useing my trusty old HD9000.

Thanks for the response dudes, after my Protek had its MAC deleted from its host I thought its about time I did some shopping.

Have to say I really like Spider boxes as with these there is life after death...unlike Proteks! I'm gonna PM cannydo being deleted by Boris and ending up with a useless box has not impressed me to say the least!
