    Broadband earth stations

    Broadband on the move.
yesterday Ofcom approved super fast broadband on the move
That means having earth stations on boats, planes, rail and psv vehicles
giving upto 10 times faster speeds over normal connections.
That means it will be able hold and lock on d the connection.
This could be the start of having a proper home to sat connection,
with real fast speeds unless BT put a block on the home service.

    yes indeed : ...

Project Loon is a research and development project being developed by ****** with the mission of providing Internet access to rural and remote areas. The project uses high-altitude balloons placed in the stratosphere at an altitude of about 20 mi (32 km) to create an aerial wireless network with up to 3G-like speeds.

... and all of this is for

Also, the latest days there was an experiment done for faster broadband.

The experimental system is called "Alien Super Channel" and the broadband speed was 1.4Tbit/sec.
That's fast enough to download 44 HD films in a single second.

As the technology is still in the trial phase, customers won't benefit immediately and we have to wait for many years for this.
