    hi laaziri1963

as the model says' hd', dvb-s2 should work - take a look here: http://www.sl-forums.com/forum/satel...nsponeder.html (info about strongest and weakest transponder) - try a scan on a strong tranponder - do you get signal on any dvb-s2 transponder?

      Hello

Are you sure that these DVB-S2 channels are FTA and you can watch them?
Maybe you try to open a scrambled channel without having a card or a line from a server.
Do you use any card or line to your box?
Did you check if you have signal in these channels?

I suggest you to use a ready made list ,as Vhannibal settings, for the satellites that you have on your box.

        in dvb-s signal = 70 %

        in dvb-s2 signal = 00 %

        on same satellite

          Hello mate

You have to do a lot of test in order to find your problem.

First of all you have to check if you dish is aligned correctly and also you should check if the lnb is ok.
There are many cases that the lnb works with sd channels but fails with hd.
Moreover, check carefully the cables from your dish to the box to be sure that all is ok.

Also if you use any in-line sat amplifier, remove it and try again.

Another test that I suggest you is to take another receiver from your friend and test it in your home to ensure that your dish and cables are ok.

Also you may move your receiver to your friend's house and test it.
In this way, you will ensure that your box is ok.

Finally , make an auto scan on all channels.

problem with receiving channels DVB-S2 standard is relevant to many users and it does not depend on the receiver mark, especially if installed multifeed in focus better reception, it requires installation of satellite dishes with a large diameter

the dish is an 1.80 m of diameter
              so I'll try another lnb

You dish maybe is a big dish but this is not a guarantee that has the correct alignment.
Check it, because the 70% signal that you said above is very low for me.

The DVB-S2 signal will be a lot less robust and can cause problems for many people trying to receive them, that is one of the reasons the operators are switching to them. You need to spend some time checking your dish alignment for the very best signal, although you still might end up having to consider a larger dish. the signal levels you get from DVBS channels will only serve to confirm that you are on the correct Satellite.

                  Regards Mobley3

                    hi

extra info: also svb-s2 transponders with modulation 8psk are often weaker than those with eg qpsk - so check with king of sats or lyngsat which you'd best scan.

this is true, my problem is with the frequencies 8PSK

                        hi laaziri1963

did do try adjusting your dish a bit to get better signal, this might help: http://www.sl-forums.com/forum/satel...nsponeder.html - lock the sat with a strong transponder, and then finetune with a weak one.

As you say, also a new lnb might improve.
