    Canoot scan transponders

Pls help I have SS2 and SS1 but some transponders give me only Level not Quality signal.

I have motorized Dish that I control with SS1 and USALS settings (SS2 dot drive with USALS)

Transponders are usually with HD channels, those that require SS2 but still nothing found on them even when blind search with SS2.

      Re: Canoot scan transponders

I can receive HD channels with SS1 (only in software mode) and with SS2.

Dish size is 120cm and I have DISEQ motor HH-2100. On some transponders with both PC cards shows only Level of the signal but Quallity of those Transponders are 0.

So I think that those transponders are DVB-S2 compatible and no one of my PC Cards are not capable of receiving DVB-S2 signal.

Is Skystar2 capable to receive DVB-S2 8psk transponders? Or it is something else wrong with my config?

        Hello mate

Skystar2 is a DVB-S card which means that you can get only sd channels (DVB-S).
In order to watch HD channels or to pick up DVB-S2 broadcasts you need a DVB-S2 card.

Please suggest me a DVB-S2 compatible PC card (not USB) that supports motorized dish to be driven from PC

Some very good cards at low prices are coming from TBS

            I found this card:

TBS6922SE DVB-S2 TV Tuner PCIe Card
            -http://www.tbsdtv.com/products/tbs6922se-dvb-s2-tv-tuner-pcie-card.html

Of course supports motorized dish and it's price is about 58€ from Cnina.

If you look at the page of TBS you will find more cards to select depending on your needs.
