    best cheap box around

hey guys my friend is looking to get into cardsharing

could anyone recommend a reliable enigma 2 twin-tuner box that has auto bouquets so i don't have to sort out the channels every time the frequencies change.

    Thanks

Auto bouguet is a plugin that you can install on any enigma2 open source box, not a built in feature.
It all depends on your budget, how much are you planning to spend?

        Hello alankellyeire

        What is the budget?
If your friend wants a receiver for easy use and he don't like to spend much money then maybe a second hand dreambox (500hd or 800se) is the best solution.
All depends on the money that he wants to spend.
A very good solution also can be a vu+ receiver.

Amiko Alien 2 HD or nBox are your cheapest options, should be able to get a brand new ones or under £150

Vu+ is highly recommended from personal experience. Gigablue is also a solid, reliable option if vu+ is a bit too expensive.
I see gigablue are sorting out transcoding for the gigablue as well, which is a nice extra too have.

              hi,

do you mean the gigablue satbox can transcode sdtv or hdtv into avi on hd ?

this requires about 65 % of my venerable 1.8 ghz pc ~> 1.2 ghz (sdtv)

how is the quality like ?

              thx
