According to kingofsat, there are 2064 channels.

Tv channels=1705
Radio channels=359

They are changing nearly every day. If you have a "complete" sat position (all possible sat transponders/frequences are in use) you have more than 2000 channels incl. testing cards so there are 3-5 changes nearly every day. But the most channels keep their frequence/position for years.

kinfofsat_net gives you the "Most recent updates" very actual nearly every day.

is there a software that could read off this site and build a channel list?!

the satbox have a command to scan automatically the sats and to build the service.xml file with all tv and radio channel

true, but just a little addition: this also depends on the receiver one has - not all receivers have this possibility.

but these all channels receiving ability depend on foot print
in your aria i think in india hotbird signal are weak

You will need to have an HD Receiver and also be able to receive all the beams to receive all of the channels listed for Hotbird, I doubt this is possible given you seem to be living in India.

The building of a channellist also depends on what software/receiver you use.
I tried to build a program (in C#) that reads all sats from kingofsat and makes a channellist, but its pretty tough to get it right: you need to interprete the html that the sites gives back and combine that with all other data you need, like the transponderdata and video_id, audio_id, scrambling type, type of MPEGs and more.

you can use Dreamboxedit dreamset239 tuxdbedit to select

- satellites
- channels
- bouquets

- ...

and make your own channel list

There is also TV channels in list for kingofsat, which are on transponders with ACM/VCM , which your STB can't scan
