Ka Band , can we get it ?

I was looking arround on Lyngsat and KingOfSat and found some satelites who offer services on frequency i'am not use to see such as in Eutelsat 16A at the end of the chart we can see frequency who start by 21000.
I cannot move now my dish to these position but i wonder , is it possible for a Dreambox or another E2 Device to receive these frequecys.

Do we need a new LNB for this KA band ?

And is it easier for Point and lock or harder than a Mpeg2 Signal in KU Band ?

For the Ka-Band you need a whole other LNB's and receiver.

It is possible but you need Ka band LNB.

People are receiving Saorsat ( Irish TV channels) in KA Band from 9E, these are on frequency 20185, so I do not think there should be a problem from other sats as long as you change the Lnb for a KA band one.

Inverto White Twin Ka Band LNB Circular Dual Polarity

This LNB is suitable for reception of Saorsat satellite channels on Ka-Sat 9E.

The 2nd picture is of a Triax TD78 dish in Cork, Ireland with a standard Universal LNB positioned for Astra 28E (BBC ITV CH4 Etc.) and an Inverto Ka band LNB positioned for RTE/Saorsat reception. Both are mounted on a modified Triax LNB Multiholder. Both LNBs are connected to a 2-way Technomate DiSEqC switch which feeds a FTA HD Satellite Receiver so RTE, BBC etc all on the one box ! NB. This setup may not work outside ROI as the Saorsat satellite footprint is small !

Designed for use with Eutelsat Ka-Sat.

NB. This is a Ka Band Twin LNB and is NOT suitable for use with Astra or SKY !!!

It has a 25mm neck but is supplied with a 40mm adapter which allows it to be fitted to standard satellite dish LNB holders eg. the Triax TD range.

Be careful and control footprints: Ka-band ones can be narrower.

Yes the one above I mentioned is a really small footprint

Unfortunately No. You will have to use some sort of Dual Lnb setup.
