    EPG Storage

I use openpli image and cross epg plugin. I used to have all epg stored and displayed when I reboot the box or restart enigma, whether it is normal epg or epg from cross epg.

Now I updated the image and the normal epg isn't stored and displayed on restart any more.

Are there any options for this?

Where is your epg stored, flash or external storage?

What do you mean by normal epg? Crossepg always recommends to store on external storage.

@sjamesamuel do you mean when you press the EPG button it does not open CrossEPG?
if so there is a plugin called MultiQuickButton, install it and you can select what action happens when you press the EPG button on the remote

I mean the normal channel EPG opposed to that downloaded by cross epg

This could be related to the channel set on boot.

I will try to explain it clearer with an example.

For SKY It, I use cross epg to download epg. While for MBC (7W), the channel has epg apart from cross epg.

After updating the image, the epg of MBC isn't stored and read on restart. While for sky It, it is displayed.
              Before both were stored.

              Thanks

                Re: EPG Storage

Do you have the 'reload EPG on Restart' ticked as the EPG is stored externally on either USB or Internal Hard drive while the receiver is not in use but when switched back on the EPG.dat is loaded into the receivers ram for your EPG program to access.

Any EPG that is loaded via the Satellite EPG TP's once loaded into ram is discarded if you move of that satellite or reboot your receiver

Much clearer explanation second time round.
As said above, if you are using an epg other than cross epg, such as rytec, you need to tick the reload epg on restart/boot.

Yes, I have "Force reload on restart" enabled. But I still have the same behaviour.
