As you are in Ireland your reference sat is in fact 5W.If you are using USALS then that is where you should start from. With the motor set at zero first turn it to a south position. put in you Lat and Long and then send the motor to 5W, adjust for best signal by moving the motor around the pole to peak the signal, tighten the motor mounts. Once this is done the other sats should be found automatically. If you use Diseqc you will have to find and store each sat separately. Hope this helps.
I presume that you have paid all the necessary attention to making sure that the mounting pole in vertical in both planes, if it is not you will have problems tracking the arc

Re: motor setup
Hi mate
You must find the longitude for your area.
Irland is near of 8° and that's means that the zero point is the 7E or 9E.
One of these satellite you must use as start for the right settings. If You Like My Post..... Please Press the Thanks ButtonComment

Re: motor setup
hi, did you get sorted, and what receiver are you using? it depends in ireland where you are located on deciding the best satellite to use as your reference sat. the more west you go then you need a more westerly sat. but at 8west you are near cliffs of moher so wont need to go anyfurther.Comment
