    hi dawbrain

theoretically (works like this here, same configuration without motor: lnb -> protek in, protek out -> mvision): you can watch all channels on the same sat with the same polarisation (so only H or V on mvision, when the protek is on a H or V transponder).

Another question: which kind of motor (actuator? used with Diseqc 1.2? can you control your motor with your protek? easy to setup?)?

      Just a little clarification:

lnb -> protek in, protek out -> mvision in

If watching encrypted channels does the loop through unscramble before it leaves the first box. if not you will need a line for the 2nd box.
Then you will need to check if you can use a second box with your line.

            hi fandm

normally the protek has its 'own' freeserver (no cccam supported, only newcamd) - the mvision has 1) own freeserver and/or 2) cccam/newcamd ; so both boxes need their 'unscramblingdevice', so agreed with your point.

You will find another limitation in low/high band (not only polarization).
Switching between the two bands is triggered by a 22 KHz tone signal.
