Satellite appearing twice in satellite list

I uploaded my channel list using DreamBoxEdit, but now when I scan for a channel, the satellite is duplicated. It appears twice in the sat. list with the same name.

I edited the lamedb file and I can see something like this:

    Code:
    100e:[B]ffba0000[/B]:0029:0800:1:0
    MBC Persia
    p:JMC,c:00100e,c:011072,c:03100e

    100e:[B]0dca0000[/B]:0029:0800:1:0
    MBC Persia
    p:JMC,f:40
The channel also appears twice under each sat. and both are working.

Using this detailed explanation by Gianni : http://www.satlover.eu/forum/285981-post6.html

I can see that the difference is in the "Original Network ID"

    So has this been changed?

And how can I fixed this so I only have the sat. appear once on the sat. list?

The "more correct" is the one originated by the scan, so you should delete the service in the channel list you uploaded.
It's not a good idea to upload a channel list and then make a channel scan.

dear you just scanned a satellite or transponder without selecting choice to delete before scan existing channels.

and that is the logical result of this option you took

so to avoid these duplicates and trying to edit them you should either not manually scan after inserting lamedb given settings or just delete satellite and manually scan it

Why you don't use a ready made list as Vhannibal settings ?
You can sellect wich sattelites you want and create your favorite bouquets with the Dreamboxedit.
Don't forget to sellect to remove the unused bouquets from the drembox.

I used a channel list because it has my favorites groups which has many channels, instead of creating them again, which will take a long time.

Is there a way to just keep the favorites groups with the new scan?

            yes !

just backup the /var/tuxbox/conf/enigma, except the file services.
            then scan channels;
then restore your userbouqets.* files ...
            reboot

This path is for enigma 1, right?

Any idea if this is possible for enigma2?

And can dreamboxedit select which files to upload?

Thanks. But I don't want to ruin my channel list.
I hope someone would confirm before trying it.

Re: Satellite appearing twice in satellite list

I found an option in dreamboxedit to import user bouquets from other channel lists.
I used it and it solved most of the problem.
For providers that changed the onid, I had to add channels to bouquets all over.

actually you can also disable background scan
but can't recall where you do it
another thing are i think the imagebuilders hide a channel list somewhere
and that cause the double input
i once saw it but can't find it anymore (and i couldn't do anything with it cos its was locked)

Re: Satellite appearing twice in satellite list

The problem was with the normal scan. When I uploaded my old channel list and then did a normal scan, some satellites appeared twice.
Apparently, some providers changed their ONID's, and newer ones were added the duplicated satellite entries.
Providers with the same ONID didn't cause such a problem.

I've never had this problem on Enigma1 though.
