I have vu+ uno solo2 and in my opinion the picture 1080p is better faster zapping..

I said almost instantaneous, maybe half a second. Obviously this is on fta channels.
I have only ever stuck with 2 images on my duo and solo2, blackhole and vix.
In my opinion anything that requires processing power will be faster on a stb with a faster processor.

Did you try different images on vu+ duo ? Some images are slower than others. Also using a DiSEqC makes zapping slower.

DM800 have very low Internal memory, So you have very limited choice for Plugins and other media stuff

zapping does not requires rocket speed cpu, isn't it ?

cpu power is required for multi tuner, transcoding, hd, streaming ...

media center : (dec + hd) as a home server ( ... but still ... , this requires more bandwith and access dik than calculus )

If my post was useful to you, please push 'thanks' button.
So from 256 to 512 mb ram, what difference would you notice?
