I've yet to fully experience 3d TV in the home, but from what I've seen on the cinemas, it is not really worth it. Most directors prefer not to use it, it is at the request of the film company as they can charge more. A lot of the times the films are post-production 3d (converted to 3d after the filming has been completed)

However, the few times where the director has decided to chuck a few extra million dollars more than the standard conversion cost, it has been worth it. You can notice the difference. Unfortunately, this is the exception rather than the rule.

if only it would be possible to watch 3D channels without any special glasses. If this is achieved to make by tv manufacturers, a real revolution will emerge.

So I will not hurry to buy à 3D TV

it is not the end of the 3d tech it is just the beginning of this technology as Samsung has introduced a new technology which is ultra hd and 4 times more than the normal hd 1080p

According to a friend who is a BT project manager, they are working on lunching 3D channels in near future

3D tv will be around for a long time it not very successful at the moment i think one because of wearing glasses and because it gives lots of people headaches when these issues are sorted it will take off

it is not the end of the 3d tech it is just the beginning of this technology as Samsung has introduced a new technology which is ultra hd and 4 times more than the normal hd 1080p

Ulta HD technology can give better results for 3D viewing but it's the same technology that until now exists on Full HD tvs.

The step from HD to Ultra HD is just like the step was from SD to HD.

Ultra HD technology can makes passive 3D more tolerable because until now the resolution is halved but with ultra HD the resolution is 4 times higher than full HD which means passive 3D still looks nice and sharp.

Finally, 4K 3D is the next feature on the production line and will give spectacular results.

According to BBC Click, ( watch it while ago), most of the giant TV companies such as sony, Samsung and Panasonic are working on making these glasses free by using several LCD or creating different focal image points. it will be a while till they succeed, but who knows

Sonys' ps3 supports 3d, the ps4 doesn't. Perhaps they update it some day.

There are 4 channels on 10E. 11428V DVB-S2 8PSK 30000 5/6.
These are "Worlds first UHD broadcasting to consumer TVs via satellite"
The channels are:- Top left, top right, botton left and bottom right.

Yes guys glasses is not quite convenient option, but a review of programs in 3D on the nature or mountain scenery is very impressive, this effect in the Ultra HD probably will not be

For those who cannot afford the expensive 3D sreen,
There is a little box that you can use between the receiver and the TV.
It gives you the choice of various formats of 3D.

I have seen the box in one of the satellite shows.

Hi BM 300,

i don't see the advantage for such a Box. Because you still need
a 3D screen to watch 3D contents with glasses. Does it make
some convertion?
