There is, I think the MAX make one. I'd be curious to hear other brands.

Yes, I have seen some. But better be careful with them because they are not safe according to several opinions.

this is a good question, the only solution I know of is word of mouth, when a device is good, it becomes famous

Several customers said there was a suspicious sentence on the sticker of the box but I would not like to quote it. That is what made them aware that their devices were not original.

ok, but there are also clones that do not boast about being original, but simply similar hardware. (I think that even the vu + was born as a clone of dm).

You can find Vu+ Duo and Solo clones. In the images you can see how if it is a solo original or clone.

                  Re: vu+ clone ?

Best way to avoid clones is to buy from reputable dealers. I had a vu+ duo clone and paid the price.
                  A pile of c**p!

                      Re: vu+ clone ?

You cannot recognise them from a picture. So as I said in my previous post, avoid them by buying from a reputable dealer!
If you open them up there are some differences such as the secret chip the clone needs, but you can't see that in a picture advertising the product.

                        Hi mate

It's very simple how to avoid a Vu+ clone.
Don't buy from China or store that you don't know with a small prices.
Prefer to buy from a store that you trust. Maybe you have to paid a little more money, but I think that it's doesn't matters.
You will buy a box original and you will have a full waranty.

                          hi,

                          thx for your comments,

i must admit that to discern properly one clone and a genuine vu+ is tuff !

                          even of these pictures:

should screw out the box to see (maybe) something wrong ?

i wonder how custom does !

i still wonder if there is a solution against this piracy !

As said in my previous post and cause to the fact that today all purcases are done online, it will be to late, when you'll receive your box, to discover that it's a clone.
The best way to avoid buying a clone is to shop carefully.
