vu+ solo linux hd - price ok?

    OK, after your suggestions here:

dm800se is out of the planings - too expensive.
After a lot of reading here the offer of amazon, ebay...:

vu+ solo hd for ~195 euros

I found mostly good results from users so my question: is this price ok?

Yes that is about the going rate for a Vu+ Solo single HD tuner. Here in the UK they sell for around £180 delivered. The Solo is quite an old box now though, with the Solo2 being far superior.

Ok the Solo2 is quite a bit higher in price, so with that said, I'd be tempted to stretch the budget slightly and get a twin tuner like the Technomate TM-2T which sells over here for around £220. For just around 20% more you'd have a twin tuner with pretty much the same support as a Vu.

      I agree with purenirvana.
And if you want to stay within your original budget, my advice is for a Gigablue 800HD SE Combo.
An additional DVB-T2 tuner can always be useful and many teams support this box.
