cccam says offline, any help?

sorry if i've missed this one, i recently bought a cccam.cfg from a site, and a new skybox f5. added the cccam via usb and it is on the list but says offline, is this a problem with my installation or the line itself??

Hard to say Thunderboltsteve, try adding another known working c-line to that same cccam.cfg file. If that c-line connects it is more than likely that other line that is the problem.

Hi and welcome to the forum. you bought a cline (like a code) inside the file cccam.cfg From what you say they give you the file and tell you were to put it? an easy way to find were is the problem is to copy-save the file you bought and then delete everything inside the file and enter only a free cline from here. if it works (open some channels for a few seconds) then the problem is the cline if it doesn't come back here.

It is possible that your c-line is not activated yet. Have you tried to contact your provider and ask him?

Perhaps this tests:

1: Is your box online?
2: Does the cline work?

For the second point maybe another receiver (if possible) or test via internet (if you will risk).

I think you need to contact the provider. Was it a "reliable" site i.e. one recomended by members or just a random one.. As has been said test another line see if that says the same , if so it may be your end. If not contact whoever sold you the line.

do you have internet conection.If your configuration is not good you cant connect to server.Maybe c line is not activated.Post more details

Hi mate

Have you try another C-line to see if working?
Take a test line and put it to your box in order to see if all is ok.
Also, check if your internet connection is ok.

If you still have problem, yoy have to speak with those who give you the line.

if you have a new skybox f5, you should configure your receiver may need to update the software, skybox f5 works well with cline.

First thing to check is your internet connection see if the ******* app works, it is like a
lottery when you buy a F5 the manufacturing is not very good I have helped quite a few
people who had either a dodgy wifi or ethernet port, if your internet is o.k then it could be
the supplier of your line contact them and see if everything is fine at their end.

Try to delete the line and adding it using your remote control, the menu is quite intuitive. Also check if you are running the latest firmware

It would be helpful if he replied to some of the answer. people cannot help if people do not communicate. some of the above answer seemed very helpful,
He needs to reply and say if is box is connected to his router and sending and receiving. also if his line is valid, and if is ccam is on not off.

first thing first make sure you have put details in as given as this many times with other people saying its not working but they have put details in wrong and make sure you have green tick at the end of line
