    Any East Africa members

Im looking for any members in this forum who are in east Africa, for discussions
    and networking in this area.
Those of you who are know that we have very limited footprint coverage and need to get together and share some ideas.

Well am actually from UG but new to all this, just adopted the technology and am seriously looking for a provider DSTV that is stable.
Seems like you have been on the forum longer any pointers in regard to services we can enjoy in East Africa

This forum primarily covers european users, as it covers mainly European satellites.
If you would like to suggest this, maybe you should post it in the site bugs, account issues & suggesions thread.

Thats not entirely true as a lot of the so called European satellites have different coverage beams aimed specifically at Africa and its surrounding regions even Eutelsat 28A @ 28.5° east has a beam with channels specifically for our African friends.

And thats not the only one

Satlover Server2 has good and stable DSTV card, but only valid on 36E, so I presume Premium Server would have same card.

That's why I said primarily and mainly european. If you look at the member flags, I think the majority are from Europe.

                    hi Momba0

indeed strange, surely when I read @dessertrat's post - if it's open with server2, pretty sure it should be open on premium also . Are your sure your setup is ok, and fta channels are fine?

                    keep us informed please

I just looked at this topic and your posts there: http://www.satlover.eu/forum/satelli...reception.html. Did you check or remember if 36E (DSTV) was opening with your testline (and of course: was it a testline from here? )

Well I have tried the testlines available to me on Server 3 and its tight have never gotten a picture maybe the server is always busy or am always late coz chaps seem to repost these clines on other sites making it hard to get a proper cline on server 3. Though my setup is aligned to dstv 36.0E and FTA channels are crystal clear just like Mombao.
The russian clines could not help as I was advised on that thread something to do with the polarization.
