Do you have information about the reason? Sometimes this has technical reasons and lasts only a few hours or days untill it's again encrypted.

I think it maybe permanent because music videos are freely available on the
internet (*******), therefore people less likely to subscribe to these channels,
the ratings for these channels is on the decline. One other thing that makes me
think the move might be permanent is that these channels are no longer listed
in the sly entertainment extra pack.

From what I've read on the web, their contract for encryption with $ky has just finished so they intend to remain FTA.

They are no longer listed as part of $ky's entertainment extra pack, so it looks permanent.

italian sly music channels are awful for video and sound quality; are these the same ?

The quality is very good but like I said there is so much choice to watch music
videos on the internet the ones you like and at the time you want I rarely
watch music channels.

the ones that come on the channels just seem to be played in a loop as said before on the net you have the choice to listen to what you want and when.

Hi, guys.
Practically on all the music channels a lot of advertising blocks, so providers get a double benefit, in addition to money for advertising receive monthly fee with clients, I think all the music channels should be FTA.

those channes practicaly just promote the songs they like and its a good move they went FTA. the sly will not going to spent money on them and i bet the sly price will fall in the future as more and more people cannot affort paying them and leave.

Even radios now do dissapear ...arghhh

Well, there's Viva UK now, the Frequency is
11895.00 V 27500 2/3
And this is FTA part of Freeview as i did read somewhere.

I hope it won't be like Viva DE where it's more bla bla bla than Music.

About Italy , Virgin TV have a good Video/Audio , RTL102.5 could be better.

who said Box and Kiss died? they are free now to watch with subscription. many music channels if you like to watch them on sat. also you can install the y**** plugging on your receiver and listen your favorite music on tv.

VH1 is not fta, can say if the are working keys but Satlovers clines will do the work.

There used to be keys for VH1 and various MTV channels on 19e but these recently stopped working.
