Hello All, I have an @sat 6910 receiver. I'm told it is really a Dreambox. It has data input via a serial port (9 pin D). Works well, but I can't find any new keys now. Is there something I should know? The keys were called Dreambox 1.4.4.8. The only keys now are all very old!! (like me!) Any ideas? Thanks for reading this far!! Cheers....

Welcome to forum. I have not heard about this receiver, but how is the usage? You have cccam on it, plugins etc.., maybe you can give some screenshots? -

keys wont help you a lot cose most chanel uses encryption that cannot be uncrypted with key but with cccamComment

First of all forget everything about keys.
The way we are watching tv is a little changed.
I haven't heard something about sat 6910 receiver.
Do you make any mystake?

i think the @sat 6910 is similar to the meatbox3 but there is not much left on EMU satellites to watch.Comment

Your receiver sat CXCI-6910 is not a dreambox
You can't use keys and files for dreambox on your receiver.
I believe that you will not find keys.

Hello and thanks for the reply. This receiver doesn't have anything plugged into the slots. They are both empty. So it sounds like I need a CCam board. Where/how do I get hold of one? My local dealer has closed down and gone now!!! So I guess I have to go looking for someone who isn't gonna rip me off!! Thanks for your time. Cheers....Comment

Cccam is a "program" installed on receivers. As this is a old receiver, i dont think it has cccam support. Look at the back of your receiver, dos it have a LAN connection port. If yes, then maybe cccam on it, if not then you should go buy a new one that support cccam

From what I can see in the specification of the receiver, there is no LAN port.
So, you can't use cccam or other emulator.
Maybe you can do something with the "Common Interface with 2 CI slots" but you need a module like matrix.
I you don't have this module, forget everything and keep your box for fta channels.

Best for you to save time and money and get another receiver. i can suggest to start with a used dm500s for less than $50 maybe with an image preloaded. then come back to the forum for some help.If my post was useful, please, use "Thanks" buttonComment

Agree with kalpikos and kostis ; I wouldn'd spend my money on a module anymore - very few open these days (think even nothing in english) - so best look for another receiver (don't sell yours, can still be used for fta) - see here for some suggestions: http://www.satlover.eu/forum/satelli...recommend.html.
