    multi receivers with two dish

This is probably a frequently asked question.
Can I use two dual output lnbs with multi receivers?
I want to set it up this way:
    for each lnb:
    lnb->4 way splitter->22k->diseqc 1.o switch->receiver
In the receiver, I set it up so that I have four satellites with 22k on/off and diseqc 1/2.
The two satellite in question have both vertical and horizontal frequency transponders.
    Is it that simple?
Also, I suppose I need to use singel lo lnb?

    Thanks.

    hi chuliu

sorry, not much time to answer you, but a quick search gave following results:

best to search for yourself, as you said, has been discussed before.

Yes its really that simple. lnb to diseqc switch to receiver. The switch will handle it all.

Not very clear what you want to do ... try to draw a diagram and post here.
Anyway, using a 4 way splitter will attenuate very much you signal; if you add a switch and a long cable I don't think your signal will be enough at the end

what are the satellites you want to use and what is your location?

            Hello @chuliu

You have to be more clear, to understand what exactly you want to do.
I'm really confused with the this splitter, then 22k... why?
What do you try to do?
Tell as about your dish, lnb, wich sattelites you receive and how many boxes you have or you want to give signal.
Try to make a diagram of your project.

Re: multi receivers with two dish

                Hi Chuliu,

You need a quad or octo lnb on each dish feeding to diseqc switch then to each receiver.

Alternatively a quad or quattro lnb on each dish feeding to a multiswitch then to each receiver, but this solution can quite expensive.

It depends how many dishes you have and how many sat boxes you want to use. Can you be more specific?
