Check your usb stick by "ATTO Disk Benchmark" or change image in box.

My Sandisk Cruzer Edge 32gb is not working well with HD channels.

If we could make a list of working flashdrive, it would be cool.

Hiya stu667,I use Sandisk Cruzer Edge usb for updates it is old one and slow!
but when it comes to HD channel recording the list would be very short Transcend 32 gb 3.0 is the fastest on the market today try and you will see.

            hi guys

just for info (wrote this earlier, but don't know where and when ):
my experience with usb-sticks is not so good (different sticks/sizes/brands and differen stb's) - sometimes timeshift works, but recording is often with problems. So: why not buy an external hdd? Ok, also had some problems with compatibility and size (some stb's only good up to 500GB), but I think this is a better solution than usb-sticks.

Not saying this will work but try formatting your stick with your receiver rather than your computer.

Mainly because of the noise, heat and vibration. But that's just me.

I will try formatting with the box but not sure if it will make a huge difference.

Thanks for the suggestion of the Transcend. Will try that too.

This doesn't sound like a speed problem of the stick.I don't think the provider has changed the data rate.

If the stick is to slow in transfer rate the first 30 minutes will also have errors.

                          hi abrarshah

take a lot at the link @ivngat76 posted #24, check out for yourself which one you want from the lost, or if you know what type/brand you want (shop or online), you can check the speed before you buy it:

I prefer USB stick over HDD, There is speed issue only in recording, mostly on HD channels.

I use a Sandisk Cruser Blade 32Gb with my Spiderbox, I regularly delete and add stuff to it
never had any problems, just plug in and play.
