    Re: fat32 size limit

Try blackhole 1.7.2. But tbh, I had vix 2.4; 96 on my clone for a good 6 months with no issues at all.
Also try the ferrari forums, they have patched clone safe images.

I had a read of the thread, that Bloke is trying to peddle his c**ppy image at every turn
Don't know what he's talking about with the vix image. Yes that version is no longer supported, but It was not buggy at all.
Remember that the newer versions of Vix have Auto Bouquets which you can set to your region. It's in tuner configuration.
Also once you have it set make a full image backup, not a settings backup, as this is a patched version of Vix for clones. If you do an online update I'm not sure if it will overwrite the drivers which will get you stuck in a boot loop due to anti clone measures.
As long as you never do an online update, you should be ok.
Remember to get 1channel vod plugin, bbc iplayer and itv player installed.
Let us know how things go.

have you tried to format the hdd in the EXT linux format instead of the NTFS?

                  Re: fat32 size limit

In spite of the 4gb file size limit in fat32 I was able to ftp an 8gb mkv file and play it all the way through without any problems.

sorry my nets been down for the lst couple of weeks over a storm.
yeah he is i got the vix 3.0 from the Ferrari site instead of his and it seems to work fairly well on my vu duo i don't get the stuck rebooting problem as i did with the 2.4. it crashes the odd time but at least it reboots afterwards so im happy.

i deleted everything on my hdd and intailized it using the vu duo and it works fine now.

                    thanks for all the help
