can i watch terrestrial channels from dreambox?

i heard that some people are watching (in so good image quality) from the dreambox terrestrial channels. i think its like using dreambox and streaming the channels. they use a plugging but noone like to tell more information .can someone tell me who do they to this? is it true that it only work with HD receivers?

those terrestrial channels are not free, someone is paying for this service and got the channels from a terrestrial receiver with a paid card. what i like to know is how he can up-streaming them and how the other are down-streaming them with a dreambox.

this site clines sometimes open an italian terrestrial pay tv so i think it's possible do the same with others.

ivngat76 did you made something on your receiver cause if you can get those channels on your satellite receiver it means that they are not only terrestrial.

mahrkpat so you think that if someone had a receiver like that or a modified one can pay for the card and watch those channels on his satellite receiver and not have to use the original. that looks posible, but how can he send it to a friend? those channels are no longer sending a satellite signal.

Well, this italian paytv is only terrestrial , I' m sure. I didn't try to watch it but I read in the italian part of forum that someone watched it using clines of this site and usb dvb-t key. Obviously you have to receive their encrypted terrestrial signal( you should be in italy in this case)

with us you can watch eight of free channels via satellite receiver in the format of DVB-T to view the encrypted channels you need a different tuner

i can get the terrestrial on the digital tv but its just a blank screen with no sound. i cant figure it out how the codes of the pay card can enter to the receiver via clines. Anyway if that was they way they do it the image will be clear like all the other channels. what they do must be via streaming because the image is not good and with delay. Thats why i think the one must have has a receiver with both (sattelite and terrestrial) and must be able to read the card and maybe they placed the channels manually on the other receiver. if you can get me more informations of how they do it from the Italian members it will be great.

i cant figure it out how the codes of the pay card can enter to the receiver via clines. A.

The codes of cline enter by internet, and are indipendent from the source of the encrypted channel ( sat or terr)

I have never seen clines to view terrestrial television channels via satellite receiver, you need to buy a special tuner

Im sure that they use streaming somehow, i dont think its possible with a cline to get pay terrestrial channels but i sure hope so!
