    Problem with image quality

    Hi
I have IPBox 200. I've had it for about 6 years.
I noticed that about a month ago, the image started to become darker for most colors, and red was much brighter than the rest.
Sometimes the image is not stable, it moves up and down the screen.
Any idea what may cause this? Is something damaged?

I'd like to know if anyone experienced this before to see if there's a way to fix it.

usualy one satreceiver is working in good conditions less than 6 years
also new models os the same brand are isuesed every two years
the strategy of manufactures companies is to trigger clients to replace the satreceiver after one ore two years

I think its time to look for a replacement and retire your IPbox. Give the job to a younger, freshly graduate and more energetic candidate. I assure you will be pleased with the replacement.

Sometimes could be a welding problem: Have you tried to hit it and see if something change?

No, I don't want to ruin something else. But I cleaned it properly.

You can just pull the cable, when there is a problem in your IPBox and if nothing changes, then the problem is not in the cable

It looks like a hardware problem being six years old not even worth a repair best
to retire this box and get your self a new box, improvement in picture quality
you will notice, will be well worth the cost.
