Sometimes a new cable can solve such a problem.
I use 4*shielded cables and have no problems with all frequences.

On Astra some programs have left 12480h because of dect problems. Telephones and microwaves are the known problems with interferences. Perhaps you need even shielded plugs (and cables) to avoid such problems.

There is a definition in Radiophysics, as the solar interference, the most intensive in the winter time, it is this case

Re: C band and Wimax interference

You began concerning with Wimax interferences...then there were other suggestions.
Do you begin to understand what is responsible for interference?
Strange thing that nobody talked about your first idea, Wimax.
That's really a big problem: in Italy some C-band fans, even very skilled, had to give up or turn to Ku-band for severe interferences of Wimax in their locations...
Anyway, I heard from them that there are also better LNBs minimizing interference, but sometimes it's not enough.

If you mean the band under 3,625 GHz...with Wimax I'm afraid it's gone...

Re: C band and Wimax interference

A simple and economical method is to protect the side walls of the LNB (not the circular reflector) with a can of aluminum, this should reduce interference loops that occur on the system signal conversion.
