    End 3D TV?

At the Consumer Electronics Show 2013 in Las Vegas almost none have described new developments in 3D format.
Then it turns 3D technology is no longer interested in electronics manufacturers?

They are testing for 3d tv without any additional equipment (glasses) and I think this will be ready in a few years. Toshiba has a special tv tested, but it's much too expensive for the normal user.
    We will wait and see...

The reality is there is no so much channels broadcasting in 3D technology. The production costs are very expensive and the number of 3D TV set is too small nowday.
Glasses are another problem, because Sony, Samsung... are very expensive accesories too. It is not very interesting watching tv with a pair of 3D glasses.
Nowday brands are more interesting in 3D without glasses and so on is possible that we'll not see any change by now.
Another important step is holographical tv, is not science fiction, is the next step for the future of tv.
      Regards.

Saw a demo of Ultra HD the other day, I have to say it was impressive, but for me the problem of having to put on glasses to view is a big hurdle, and of course the incredibly high price , maybe in the distant future when it is possible to watch without the glasses and costs drop it will become more mainstream.

The problem with the 3d tv watching is that you can see the effect without glasses only on adjusted places (up to six places possible with the new and very expensive tvs).

And the technic with the glasses is not very popular.
But I think in 3 or 4 years we will have several 3d-tv channels.
