    NewCamd servers

Can you enter an Nline into the spiderbox as with a cline when they are put up on a site ?

    Re: NewCamd servers

To enter a nline you have to create it from the given information.

    For example (from free Nlines...):

    HOST : server2.sat2arab.com

PORT : 2000 (for JSC SPORT)

    USER : sat1 --> sat1000 (here sat437)

    PASS : sat2arab.com

    DESKEY : 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    Result:

    N: server2.sat2arab.com 2000 sat437 sat2arab.com 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    Enter it like a cline.

Yes, it's because of the structure of the lines for newcamd.

The newcamd protocol has some advantages (e.g. cw in ram for faster answer) but it's a bit more complicated and it uses a special port for every provider. So you have to add a lot of nlines to have the same program-choise than one cline of a full server has. That's the reason why I prefer clines and don't use the nlines.

Nlines work better in the spiderbox and best for 28E other sats clines.
Just select newcamd and put it in just like you would put a cline in.

Thanks guys sound a bit more complicated but who know may work better. Can you make the Nlines into a text files and use them with a USB in the receiver ?

There's a little program called: NewCamd server info

It's a nline converter which converts nlines for newcamd cccam and camd3.
I use it (when I use it) in vers. Tounsi9_4

                ****** for it.

I think the spider will convert it for you auto just change the settings to ncam when the line is entered
